Did You Know?
Caterpillar first introduced the 825G landfill compactor in 1996 as a replacement to the 825C series compactors.
The 825G has a 3406 engine that produces 315 flywheel horsepower and comes standard with the following:
- G-Series Cab
- Separate Cooling System
- Integrated Steering and Transmission
- Hydraulic Controls and Brakes
Production of the Caterpillar 825G ended in 2002 with Caterpillar replacing it with the 825G II model that had a 3406E air to air after cooled engine that produced 375 flywheel horsepower.
